The journey to a better process
Your IT organization can be transformed in about 3-6 months for IT teams with 5 to 15 team members; about 5 to 10 hours per week of my time.
Together we will organize your teams to work more efficiently and communicate better. Leadership will focus on defining what they need so that they can spend more time on strategy and less time managing tasks.

Listen to leadership needs and goals. Collect feedback about current project processes from team. Evaluate to determine a path forward.

Work with IT leaders to determine how teams and backlogs of work will be organized.

Build out a backlog for each team in Azure Dev Ops or other tool. Build a workflow for work to move from definition to delivery.

Train teams on project management basics. Train leaders how to manage their portfolios strategically. Train everyone how to use Azure Dev Ops or other tool that stores the backlog.

Work with the team for a few weeks or a few projects to model skills and concepts taught in training.

Support team members with in-depth training and mentoring for staff in specific roles. (e.g., how to estimate work, how to write requirements, how to prioritize work). Fully transition all responsibilities to the right team members.
